EMBA Objectives

The Executive MBA program aims to provide an integrated learning experience, to cultivate skills that complement the existing experience of executives and promote the professional and personal transformation of graduates. The continuously evolving and innovative curriculum in the field of management science, focuses on the development of entrepreneurial thinking and excellence and is designed to meet the needs of the marketplace and focus on the personal development of participants.

The main objectives of the program are:

To provide up-to-date, high-level knowledge in the field of business administration
The development of entrepreneurial thinking
To broaden and deepen the knowledge of each of the components of the value chain that creates value in businesses and organizations
The integration into the learning environment of a process of continuous reflection, enquiry, dialogue and debate
To encourage participation and the expression of opinions and conclusions on real business problems and case studies
To broaden students’ competences and skills in order to promote their professional development
To enhance the ability to communicate knowledge and conclusions
Interaction with established executives from the whole spectrum of business life
Promoting extroversion and networking with universities abroad
The close connection between the knowledge provided and the real needs of Greek businesses and the economy in general
The provision of substantial and formal qualifications to those students who would like to continue their studies at doctoral level

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of their studies, graduates of the Executive MBA will be able to:

Critically interpret the concepts of the field of business organization and management.
Choose and use appropriate tools and appropriate statistical and quantitative methods for the analysis and solution of business problems and crisis management.
Combine the acquired knowledge, experience and skills to develop innovative solutions, to address the contemporary challenges of organizations.
Understand the importance of continuous improvement and development of both themselves and the organization they belong to.
Understand the entrepreneurship ecosystem, recognize the dimensions that make it up and be able to evaluate business opportunities.
